L’appartamento, ricavato all’interno di un complesso di case a schiera è organizzato su due piani per un totale di 120 mq. Lo spazio al piano terra è trattato come un unico ambiente, visivamente comunicante, ma parzialmente schermato da mobili. La divisione tra le diverse funzioni, è sottolineata dai diversi dislivelli in loro corrispondenza.  Per conservare l’atmosfera di unità dell’insieme, si sono adottati gli stessi materiali per tutto il piano terra: dal cotto rustico del pavimento all’intonaco plastico per le pareti, all’essenza di faggio per i mobili. L’effetto finale è quello di un ambiente caldo, visivamente stimolante, dove si ha la percezione della completa integrazione tra mobili e architettura.

The apartment, included in a complex of row houses designed in Cantù, is arranged on two floors with a total surface of 120 square meters. It's evident that the space on the ground floor was designed as a single large room,  visually communicating, but partially separated by furniture, designed to satisfiy all the needs of home. The division between the various spaces, intended for different functions, is emphasized by the different slopes in their correspondence. The same materials throughout the ground floor, from rustic terracotta floor plastic plaster for the walls, to the essence of beech for furniture, were used to preserve the atmosphere of unity of the whol . The final effect is that of a warm, visually stimulating, where there is a perception of complete integration between furniture and architecture.
