Il letto fa parte dell'arredo studiato per la seconda Selettiva del Mobile del 1957. Oltre ad essa, erano stati presentati un armadio, una cassettiera ed una scrivania. L'arredo è composto da un letto e dal pannello della testata, sul quale sono collocati una cassettiera e due ripiani blocco, in una composizione asimmetrica. Come per gli altri elementi dell'arredo, anche sulla testata del letto è prestata particolare attenzione ad alcuni dettagli: la parte superiore presenta una sezione sagomata che crea una lunga gola alla quale si ancorano la cassettiera ed uno dei ripiani.

The bed is part of the furniture designed for the second Selettiva del Mobile in 1957. In addition to it, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a desk were presented. The furniture is composed of a bed and the headboard panel, on which a chest of drawers and two block shelves are placed, in an asymmetrical composition. As with the other elements of the furniture, particular attention is also paid to some details on the headboard of the bed: the upper part has a shaped section that creates a long groove to hang the chest of drawers and one of the shelves.
