condominio giardino

1957

Cantù (CO)

The building is placed on a site in front of a little square (Largo Adua), and takes the name from little green space (with three pines) that was here before the intervention. Differently from the Panorama Residential Building, sorrounded by green and on the top of a hill, this building is near the city-centre, delimited by three roads. The functional mix determins the differentiation of the surfaces and of the volumes: the basement, more compact and introverted, occupies the whole lot, excluding the opposite area for the parkings, and hosts at the ground floor a few commercial spaces and at the first the offices; the six-storeys volume, that arises on it and contains the residential units, is characterized by the presence of the lodges and by a H-shaped plan.
