competition for the requalification of piazza giovanni XXIII and via mulini
The requalification of the historic center of Cerete Basso has an important point in Piazza Giovanni XXIII.. The area was devoted to pedestrians studying a new pavement in porphyry and gray granite, in order to visually connect the open space of the road to the churchyard. Besides lighting and street furniture, the project also involved the revitalization of the historical traces: in this sense the project includes the recovery of the existing laundry and the insertion of a structure designed for the explanation of the features of the cultural monuments. For what concerns the areas outside the square,in via Mulini the paving has been completed and the intermediate bridge has been rebuilt; in the area facing the War Memorial we introduced a little flowerbed .
