competition for the requalification of piazza roma
Berbenno (BG)

The project concerns the removal of vehicular traffic from the floor of the churchyard, the redefinition of traffic and the aesthetic and functional regeneration of the square and the balcony downstream.

In this sense, it was thought a new design for the floor - designed for axles and fields, series and variations - with the definition of green spaces, panoramic seatings, and the introduction of the dynamism and the senses of the water through two tanks on the sides of the central staircase.

The panoramic point at the tip of the promontory to the valley will become for pedestrian use, and the formation of a basement car park with 40 places will resolve the presence of the cars in the project area.
