L'area interessata dall'intervento era originariamente occupata da una vecchia cascina detta "Barisei". Il corpo più vecchio, affacciato sulla via Puecher, era probabilmente appartenuto ad un vecchio monastero esistente nel '500, e presentava un interessante portone d'ingresso e parte del paramento murario interno a "graticcio". Pertanto, pur realizzando tutti gli interventi necessari per il consolidamento e l'abitabilità di questo corpo, si è voluto salvaguardare quanto più possibile l'aspetto originario, recuperando anche le vecchie tecniche costruttive e tipologiche delle murature a vista e dei ballatoi in legno. Nella parte posteriore, dove gli edifici non presentavano alcuna valenza storica o estetica, le strutture esistenti sono state completamente demolite.

The area was originally occupied by an old farm , made up of various buildings partially collapsed and abandoned. The older body, had probably belonged to an old monastery of the XVI century, and had an interesting entrance door and a wall made in the “graticcio” technique. Therefore, while realizing all the steps needed for the consolidation and habitability of this body, we wanted to preserve as much as possible the original appearance, restoring the typological and building techniques of the masonry and of the wooden balconies. In the back, where buildings do not have any historical or aesthetic significance, the  structures were completely demolished in order to obtain the underground garage and a series of volumes arranged around a courtyard which recall the original settlement model.
